Chocolate Chip Cookies

My favorite recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups BUTTER Flavored Crisco 16 ounces
  • 2.5 cups Packed Brown Sugar 22 ounces
  • 4 tbsp. Milk
  • 2 tbsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 3.5 cups Flour 18 ounces
  • 2 tsp. Salt
  • 1.5 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 2.5 cups Chocolate Chips 19 ounces

Directions
 

  • Heat oven to 350°
  • Beat shortening and brown sugar until light
  • Beat in milk, vanilla and eggs
  • Mix in chocolate chips
  • Stir in flour, salt and baking soda
  • For 3 inch cookies, Bake 11.5 minutes
    For 5 inch cookies, slightly flatten the dollop, and Bake 14.5 minutes
  • Carefully DROP the cookie sheet FLAT on the stovetop from about 8 inches – to 'crinkle' the tops.
    LEAVE the sheet on the stovetop until the NEXT batch is ready to come out.
  • ONLY use a METAL spatula to remove the cookies from the sheet, as plastic spatulas will bend, causing some cookies to break/deform.
